VW Car Club Makes Stop at Museum During Local Driving Tour

Nine cars from the local VW car club arrived today at the Greater St. Louis Air & Space Museum as part of their Saturday driving tour.  The club members are always looking for interesting places to visit, and cars and airplanes go well together.  The cars arrived at historic Curtiss-Wright Hangar 2 at St. Louis Downtown Airport around 2:00pm and received a guided tour of the aircraft and memorabilia in the museum as well as the  Lockheed Jetstar once owned by Howard Hughes.  The museum welcomes groups of all types during its hours of operation – Friday-Sunday, 10:00am-4:00pm.  The museum will also host an open house and fly-in October 6 – everyone is welcome!
